Women Empowerment Initiative for Peace and Development (WEIPD) is founded and led by experienced professionals with strong academic backgrounds and proven leadership in humanitarian and development programming. Drawing on extensive experience from national and international organizations, the founding leadership advances integrated health systems strengthening, gender equality, protection services, and resilient community development. This institutional capacity is reinforced by robust financial management systems that uphold transparency, accountability, donor compliance, and value-for-money in the stewardship of resources across South Sudan.

Kiden Cilivian Buba Sekwat
Chairperson | Vision Founding Member MBA in Health Management, Bachelor of Public Health, Diploma in Community Health. She has over 15 years of experience in humanitarian and development programming, with strong expertise in health systems strengthening, WASH, nutrition, and community-based health programming in South Sudan.

Dwamoi Allaric Omona
Vision Founding Member MSc in Public Health, Bachelor of Public Health, Diploma in Nursing, and postgraduate studies in International Health focusing on health systems strengthening in fragile contexts. He has over 15 years of experience in humanitarian programming, including integrated health, nutrition, and protection programming across complex emergency settings.

Jane Jendia Poso
Founding Member Master’s Degree in Human Rights and Development, Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations and Diplomacy. Jane has over 10 years of experience in development programming, focusing on human rights, governance, and advocacy initiatives aimed at strengthening community participation and inclusive development.

Rejoice Severino Maira
Secretary General / Founding Member. Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement and Logistics and Diploma in Public Administration. She brings over 8 years of experience in administrative and logistics management, supporting efficient operational systems within humanitarian and development programs.

Mary Nyanuer Monywach
Deputy Chairperson/ Founding Member. Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. She has over 8 years of experience in organizational administration and management, supporting effective program coordination and operational management.

Dudu Santuke Emmanuel
Treasurer / Founding Member. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration/Entrepreneurship, Diploma in Accounting, and Diploma in Purchasing and Supply Management. She has over 5 years of experience in financial management, procurement, and supply chain operations supporting development programs.
