
Women Empowerment Initiative for Peace and Development (WEIPD) is a registered (RRC #6152) non-profit national women-led organisation committed to advancing gender equality, protection, and socio-economic empowerment of women and girls in South Sudan. Through community-driven, gender-transformative, and systems-strengthening approaches, WEIPD works with women, girls, youth, men, community leaders, and institutions to address harmful norms, strengthen resilience, and promote inclusive and sustainable peace and development.
WEIPD generally works to build a South Sudan where every woman and girl can live with dignity, lead confidently, and shape a peaceful and prosperous future.
