Empowering women, girls, and youth for Peace, Dignity, and Development in South Sudan

WEIPD is committed to transforming the lives of women, girls, and youth in South Sudan through inclusive development programs that promote SRHR, peacebuilding, economic empowerment, and protection. Our work is designed to address inequality, strengthen resilience, and build peaceful and dignified communities
Our Expected Impact
1. Empowered Girls & Youth
Through SRHR education and the SHE SOARS approach, WEIPD will equip adolescent girls—especially out-of-school youth—with knowledge, confidence, leadership, and livelihood skills.
2. Increased Women’s Participation in Peace & Governance
We will strengthen women’s involvement in mediation, peace dialogues, and community leadership.
3. Reduced GBV & Safer Communities
WEIPD aims to promote awareness, improve referral systems, and support survivors of gender-based violence.
4. Improved Livelihoods & Climate Resilience
Women-led agriculture, skills training, and income-generation activities will strengthen household resilience and economic independence.
5. Enhanced Access to Essential Services
WEIPD will improve access to youth-friendly SRHR services, education, and protection systems.
